Welcome to Camp Pet Pro!

We have all suffered the consequences of the pandemic and cost of living crisis and now it's time to turn things around and leap out of the rut so many of us have been stuck in for the past 4 years! New for 2024, we introduce Camp Pet Pro - specifically planned to help you as a pet professional boost confidence, motivation, productivity and profits!


Camp Pet Pro will run from Friday 30th August to Sunday 1st September 2024. We will host at least 2 fun activities per day, fitness and relaxation sessions, put on our fabulous feasts for breakfast, lunch and dinner and set a campfire each evening for you to sit down, relax and maybe toast some marshmallows..!

Our event will hold business and personal growth workshops - each one dedicated to helping you achieve maximum potential. We will also launch our Awards programme with the first Awards Ceremony to take place at Camp Pet Pro 2025!

Animal Magic Family Pet Retreat is located in a peaceful rural setting on the outskirts of Oakworth, West Yorkshire. Its perimeter and individual paddocks are bordered with 6 foot high fencing, providing safe and secure areas for dogs to run free. Parking is available on site along with local rail and bus networks.

Event Information


  • The campsite opens for early arrivals from 5:00pm on Thursday 29th August

  • Activities and business workshops commence at 11:00am on Friday 30th August

  • The event ends at 4:00pm on Sunday 1st September 

  • Attendees are welcome to stay on the Sunday night but must depart by 10:00am on Monday 2nd September 


  • Payment for your chosen package can be paid in full or spread across instalments between April and August. Please select the appropriate option on the purchase listing.

  • Pet Pro Club members will have the opportunity to pay for next years camp with their monthly membership fee from 10th September.

  • Refunds will not be issued after 31st July. Ticket transfers are permitted up to 20th August but please remember to let us know the change of details so the correct passes can be printed.


  • Country Munch Cafe & Bakery will provide all catering for the event. Though meals are included in your package, our cafe will be open from Thursday evening to Monday morning for attendees to purchase additional snacks, meals and drinks.

  • Accommodation is provided within luxury Emperor Bell Tents. Each tent sleeps 10 people and comes with beds and bedding. You are welcome to bring your own bedding and home comforts but bear in mind each persons area will have limited "living" space.

  • Portable toilets, washing facilities and drinking water will be located on the campsite.

  • Lighting will be provided within each tent but is not permitted on the camping ground. Expected daylight hours will be between 6:00am and 8:30pm. 

  • Campfires will be lit from dusk to 11:00pm.

  • Heating is not provided within tents.

  • A mobile device charging point will be available, but we have no facility for charging electric vehicles. 5G coverage is available here (most of the time!).

  • Provisions will be made for medication and dog food which needs to be refrigerated or stored safely.

  • Meals and workshops will take place in a large marquee.

  • Activities are TBC but are likely to run outdoors. We are accepting suggestions for favoured activities until 31st July.

  • Quieter areas are available away from the main campsite, should you wish to bring your own tent (must be pre-arranged).

  • If you are interested in arranging private glamping accommodation, please get in touch before booking your package.

General Information & Event Rules

  • 2 weeks before the event we will send out an email to ask about your dietary and health requirements to assist with our catering preparation.

  • We will not serve alcohol on site, but you are welcome to bring your own provided its consumption doesn't result in disruptive behaviour. 

  • We are located on a hill (elevation 1,041ft) and though the weather is usually pretty good during Summer, it can also turn on a sixpence in 30 seconds flat. So please do bring some emergency rain and windproof clothing with you, just in case. Equally the sun can be very powerful so don't forget the sunscreen!

  • If you prefer not to camp, there are many options for accommodation in the surrounding area, though as there are lots of tourist destinations nearby we recommend booking in early to secure a place!

  • Animal Magic Family's Doggy Creche will be open during the day to look after your dog whilst attending business workshops (though they are welcome to attend with you).

  • You are welcome to bring your own promotional materials and / or products to showcase to fellow attendees.

  • You are permitted to leave the campsite at any time if you would like to explore local surroundings.

  • Please do not disturb other attendees at any time. Any person(s) found to be displaying untoward behaviour will be asked to leave the event immediately.

  • Drugs are not permitted anywhere on the premises. 

  • Do not litter the campsite and please pick up your dog poo!

Useful Information

  • Our local village of Oakworth is 1 mile away and has several pubs and takeaways, along with a Co-Op. It is home to the famous "Railway Children" train station.

  • We are a stones throw from stunning Bronte Country and the village of Haworth, both popular tourist destinations attracting visitors from all corners of the world.

  • The local town of Keighley is approximately 3 miles away. You can find the main public transport networks, supermarkets and popular food and shopping outlets here.

  • Many of the local takeaway establishments deliver to our address.

  • The average cost of a taxi to or from Keighley is £6.50.

  • The nearest A&E is at Airedale General Hospital, 5.5 miles away.

Camp Pet Pro

The Enthusiast Package


£495.00 per person


You don't have to come along just to learn stuff. You don't have to be a social butterfly or networking wizard. We welcome pet professionals from all backgrounds and have quiet spaces in addition to the main event area. 

Our Enthusiast package is for those who would like to take the event at their own pace - you won't be forced to mingle, join in with activities or book onto any classes. Simply arrive, unpack your belongings and see where the weekend takes you!

This package comes with an optional extra to book a 30 minute 1-2-1 with Victoria to discuss your business plan and receive a personal action plan. This session can take place at any time in person at Animal Magic Family Pet Retreat or via Zoom.
