Animal Magic Family Pet Retreat is an exclusive members only facility nestled in 2 acres of countryside, on the picturesque outskirts of the village of Oakworth. We host a comprehensive range of pet care services to suit all needs such as doggy day care, dog walking, dog training, home boarding for pets, home visits for pets and weekly dog socialisation meets. Though rural, we run a weekday Pet Chauffeur service - and are just 10 minutes from Keighley town centre, 20 minutes from Colne, 20 minutes from Skipton - and 45 minutes from Clitheroe.
As you will see from browsing our website, we offer so much more than pet care including an on site dog friendly cafe and bakery, our own fabulous range of pet supplies subscriptions, pet bakery creations, pet gift boxes, pet treat boxes and pet owner gift boxes and recently launched National Pet Health Service, aiming to be the pet service provider that every pet wants and every pet owner needs! With 35 years experience of caring for animals, why would you choose anybody else?

We adore animals and have a lifetime of experience both owning and working with them. You can place your trust in us to provide a safe, comfortable, fun, stimulating and healthy environment for your furry friend (or reptile!). Whether it’s providing doggy day care, home boarding, ensuring they let off some steam, coming by to feed them, or providing bespoke care packages, we go above and beyond to watch over your pet as if he/she were our own. We are not the cheapest - but we are the BEST!

We no longer accept enquiries via telephone call or social media messaging services. Once you have read the relevant information for your required service, please send a text message or email with details of your enquiry along with information about your pet (type, breed, age, sex, characteristics). Please note that we have limited availability for our dog services and our large breed group is currently full.
We aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours, though during busy periods this is not always possible so please bear with us! Please note that visits are by appointment only and cannot be arranged during Doggy Day Play hours.

Our Perfect Pet Patisserie & Gifts officially opened in September 2021 - offering bespoke pet birthday creations, delightful delicacies and unique themed gift box subscriptions. All products are available to be collected, hand delivered within a 25 mile radius or posted to any UK address. Please ensure you select the appropriate delivery or collection option for your order at checkout and write any notes that you think may be applicable to your order in the field provided. We opened our Country Munch Cafe and Campsite in April 2023! You are able to bring your dog to eat, shop and play. More information about our cafe and campsite can be found here.

In January 2024 we officially rebranded as "Animal Magic Family Pet Retreat, Education & Activity Centre" - meaning that in addition to our existing services, we became a Social Enterprise launching Smile Club, support groups and educational courses for all ages. Animal Magic Family Pet Retreat, Education & Activity Centre is a Social Enterprise established for the public benefit, the relief and assistance of people in need in any part of the UK who are subject to the emotional and financial burdens relating to mental and physical illness by providing them with funding, advice, solutions, counselling, social development and education to thrive.
Our organisation also works to raise awareness of the effects emotional and financial burdens have on our society and encourage lenders to change their approach to debt recovery when a customer falls victim to mental or physical illness, along with encouraging all citizens to help others when they can – one Act of Kindness at a Time.
