Our Ethos
Along with the NPHS, we are committed to addressing some of the most pressing issues in animal welfare today:
Equal Access to Care: Millions of pets suffer every year because their families cannot afford veterinary care. We believe that veterinary care should be a right, not a privilege. Our pricing structure remains consistent across all household income levels, ensuring that no pet owner faces financial barriers to routine or urgent care.
Supporting Animal Welfare Organisations: An estimated 250,000 animals enter rescue centres in the UK each year. By offering affordable care, we alleviate the burden of high veterinary bills for rescue and welfare organisations, empowering them to help more animals in need.
Advocating for Responsible Pet Ownership: Almost 700 pets are surrendered to rescue centres every single day. To reduce the number of unwanted and unhealthy animals, we advocate for stricter regulations on pet breeding, limiting it to registered breeders who prioritise health and wellbeing.
A Compassionate Approach to Veterinary Care: The rate of suicide is higher in the veterinary industry than the national average. We recognise the pressures faced by veterinary professionals and strive to create a supportive, low-stress environment. By addressing the financial and emotional challenges tied to pet care, we ensure our team can focus on providing the best possible treatment.
Community Education and Outreach: Education is key to improving animal welfare. Through collaborations with animal care professionals, we will offer workshops, resources, and outreach programmes aimed at promoting responsible pet ownership and preventive care.
